Lisa Gardner, because I love mysteries and thrillers and she does them very
well. I always like a story that I have to figure out, one that comes in dribs
and drabs and takes a lot of twists and turns.

Colleen McCullough - I only read the one book, The Thornbirds, but it’s
my all time favorite book. I re-read it every few years and watch the
mini-series every few years as well. I just fell in love with that story when I
was a kid, and that was that.

Dean Koontz, because he writes in so many different genres that his books are
never the same. He can weave mystery, fantasy, sci-fi and dark horror elements
so seamlessly, and he writes real page-turners with a lot of humor.

Jasinda Wilder, because she captures angst so very well, and her characters are
flawed yet real.
5) Robin Cook, because I love, love, love a good
medical thriller, and nobody does it better.
